Hansan Island

It took half an hour from Tong Yeong city by ship. It costs 10,000 won per person(Based on Dec 2010) for a round-trip ticket. Hansan Island is known for a historic place that Admiral Yi Sun-sin protected korean from japanese invaders in 1952. Now visitors are allowed to enter and walk around there. I highly recommend one of the remarkable attractions in Korea.

Korean Cultivator

I used to take this korean cultivator when I was young. However, it's hard to see this close to the downtown these days because of rapid urbanization. The cultivator used to move a pile of crops and agricultural implements. To start an engine, turn the right side of machine several times by using specific tools. I think that you can not find it anywhere except Korea.

Galbijjim

Galbijjim(갈비찜) is a dish of beef pieces simmered with seasonings along with various vegetables such as carrots, chestnuts and ginkgo nuts etc. Yesterday my mom bought a beef package including more than 10 pieces in Hanaro mart. It costs just 980 won on sale.

Ice Skating In The Olympic Park

This is located in the Olympic Park nearby World Peace Gate(평화의 문). They're ice skating on an ourdoor ice rink even though the temperature is below minus 11 degrees Celsius today. I think that ice skating is as fun as skiing and snowboarding. Let's go out for ice skating.
